I want to follow up with a written note of appreciation for [Officers] work today. We had a third part company attempt to penetrate our security as a test today and, due to [officers] excellent work, we passed with flying colors. The first thing they tried was to come in with a work order for pest control. [Officer] explained to him that the studio manager usually lets him know that someone new is coming in and called me o verify if it was a legitimate visit, allowing me to talk to the visitor and deal with it.
Shortly after that occurred, two men came into the mantrap part of the visitor entry and tried to distract [Officer] while a third man crawled under the gate at the back of the building. [Officer] however was monitoring the cameras as he dealt with the two men in the entry and saw the man crawling under the gate. He told the two men to wait where they were and rushed to the back of the property and intercepted the third man. When he was shown identification and a letter explaining what was going on, [Officer] chose not to take it at face value and brought the man into the security office and held him there until management came down to verify that it was legitimate.
We have been extremely pleased with [Officers] work, and this is an excellent example of his dedication and observation. He is quick to question anomalies and puts a stop to various issues before they rise to the level of emergency or disruption. His professionalism is a great example. - KPRC
